Using Knack3 in your daily tasks

Open your Jira instance, access your work spaces, and then open a ticket to perform a task assignment.

Step 1. Open Knack3 Issue panel for the first time

• Click on the button under the summary of your Jira ticket.
• Find ‘Knack3 Smart Ticket Panel’ and click on it.

Once the issue panel as been activated in your space (Jira project), ‘Knack3 Smart Ticket Panel’ will automatically open on every ticket.

Step 2. Find the best candidates for the task

Once the plugin ‘Knack3 Smart Ticket Panel’ is fully loaded with the required skills for the task on the left part, click on the button ‘Best candidates’.

Step 3. Compared the top 5 candidates for the task

Review the metrics of each candidates:

• Score: global note combining each of the metrics below
• Mastery: represents the average mastery score of all the technical skills required for the task
• Productivity: score that measures the candidate's ability to submit the work early, on time, or late.
• Occurrence: penalty calculated based on the number of times the task was invalidated after submission or validation.
• Overbooked: represents the candidate's workload, with 100% representing 5 overlapping tasks.
